Flickr Photo Meme:
1. Answer each of the questions below using the Flickr Search engine.(Not that any of them are actually phrased as questions </pedant>)
2. Choose a photo from the first three pages.
3. Copy the URL of your favorite photo into this site.
4. Then share with the world.

I am adding a rule: 5. include the links to the original images on Flickr, because not to do so is just rude.

6. Favourite Drink: ice tea
7. Dream Vacation: Space!
8. Favourite Dessert: ice cream
9. What I want to be when I grow up: a cyborg

PS: All of the internet is going on about this Merlin show. It sounds sort of silly, but I s'pose it could be fun. Worth checking out Y/N?

I went out late-ish last night to get some supplies from Tesco, and it was foggy! Extraordinarily foggy. I'm rubbish at estimating distances, but the visibility was decidedly low. It was so cool. Perfect weather-conditions for zombie outbreaks, but no, all the shillouettes that approached me out of the gloom turned out to be decidedly alive and displayed a truly shocking lack of lurching or shuffling. 1/5, world, see me.

And then later Tim decided to re-re-re-re-watch The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, and I felt a little like a lame-o for talking about my zombie dissapointments. T_T I'm not trying to be cool, I just like zombies and aliens and things and like to pretend they exist. I have done it for years! Leave me alone. >_>

XD Sheesh. My irrational, overblown fear of looking like a poser and I will just sit here being lame, now. Move along.

Almost done with awesome new Wordpress-based website design of great win. Now I just need to install the gallery plugin for my artses.

Also, the Now Show is back! Good times.

PS: You know what is awesome? Drawing tutorials on deviantART. Tutorials! They make me happy. I think I should spend an hour at some point just drawing naked men because I am a pervert my manatmoy (see what I did thar? hurr hurr) is way off. Where do the legs attach when there are no hips omgwhat.

Every time I post something to do with the weather I am amused by the fact that I have a "weather" tag.

<_< My hand hurts where I was chewing on it during the Gundam 00 S1 finale.

Yes, those five episodes were a perfectly valid reason to stay up until 5am for. No lectures tomorrow anyway.

I have a vague idea for an LJ entry in the form of a pie-chart. I blame GraphJam for this.

(I'll get tired of the unrelated one-word titles eventually)

Man, my lecturers' ineptness at PowerPoint irks me sometimes. Especially when they don't even try and just go "Oh, it always does that, I don't know why, haha." Like it's the program's fault. Ask someone how to fix it. Hell, ask me! I can tell you that the N at the end of ILLUSTRATION is on a new line because you wrote it as ARECHAEOLOGICALILLUSTRATION. All you need is one click and a press of the spacebar, ffs. But no, being told how to do it right would undermine your position, or make you feel stupid, or something.

Or when they can't find the slide-show button and instead decide they have to resize the window until it looks sort of like it's full-screen. Don't you ever see other people's presentations and see how it's meant to look? Why is it so hard to listen to "it's that button" instead of doing it in a laborious inefficient way. What has convenience ever done to you? It's not hard! It's fucking Office. I don't see why they don't take two seconds to learn how to use it. Argh, laziness!

I am increasingly convinced that all the people who complain about technology not being as good/time-saving/etc as they expect are just doing it wrong. Possibly because they enjoy complaining and/or to spite me personally.

XD Yes, I get annoyed at petty, petty things. It is my hobby.

I just saw one of the Archaeology professors in a cubicle in the library. Surely he has an office to work in?

XD I don't want to mention my professors by name in case they google themselves. I bet they do. I would.

The library is amazingly crowded to-day. End of term coming up, can you tell?

There is no purpose to this entry.

It keeps snowing down in Surrey, up here we either get rain or hail. You're doin it wrong, weather!

Anyways, I have new glasses! they're pretty cool. I've also bought a new address book, because mine is lost to the ether somewhere. So, if you want me to know where you live, email me your address, and I shall send you a Christmas card. I bought them from Amnesty, so in a very indirect way, you will be helping human rights. You know you want to.

I'm sure there was something else I was going to post about... Went to Newcastle on Saturday, and it was fun. I bought volume 2 of Mail, which was just as cool as the first, and Tim bought me dinner. Only one volume left now. D: Where shall I get my horror/detective story fix?
There's another (longer!) series by the same artist but with a different author which seems similar and should hopefully be just as good, though, so there is hope.

A propos, there must be a law in Japan that only young girls can haunt people after death. One of the stories in vol.2 was about a grown woman and one about an entire class of school-children, but the rest alllll young girls. Maybe they're just especially creepy.

Oh yes, and here is a picture of my new glasses:

Not that they are very exciting or that you can see them very well because of the reflection of the screen. They are actually dark green.

Guck mal, Mama, ich mache ein normales Gesicht!
